You can hop on your bike and turn onto the Val Venosta/Vinschgau valley cycle path directly from the village of Töll. Or you can set off on extended cultural discovery tours – to one of the surrounding museums, a castle, or Merano and Bolzano.

He used to race down the slopes as a pro skier and later taught generations the fine art of skiing as a ski instructor. Today, senior hotelier Herbert likes to sit at the bar – still sporty, but more relaxed. He listens, asks questions – and if it feels right, he’ll tell you a story. Of the good old days. Of the snow – “proper” snow. Of races, encounters, moments. Some guests come for a drink. And stay for a story. Because when Herbert speaks, you don’t just hear words.
